I held my final children's illustration workshop last Saturday 27th July, and I wasn't disappointed despite the rainy weather! The Greatest Cake got even Greater with all the lovely drawings created by children and families who dropped in to see what was happening. It got so busy we had to bring through an extra table, and a lot of children stayed to do 2 or 3 drawings. I rewarded them all with stickers to congratulate every effort. I couldn't possibly pick a favourite. This proves to me that everybody can draw or put colours together to create a work of art that they are proud of. The general positivity in the room was contagious and I left feeling really happy! So a big thankyou to everybody who joined in and especially to Erewash Museum for that wonderful creative space.
